HAMPTON — Mrs, Rosetta G. Keohane, Age 73. of 27 Walnut Ave., died Saturday at the Exeter Hospital after a short illness. She was the wife of William D. Keohane.
Mrs. Keohane had resided in Hampton since 1939 and she and her husband owned and operated the Blue Spruce Cottages at Hampton Beach for 28 years.
Born in Lowell, Mass. August 8, 1900, the daughter of the late Jeremiah and Rosetta Sherrin.
Mrs. Keohane was communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, a former member of the Catholic Women’s Club; a former member of the Hampton Beach Women’s Club and a former member of the Hamptons’ American Legion Women’s Auxiliary.
Besides her husband, family members include two sons Robert F. Keohane, Hampton and Edward L. Keohane, of Fort Myers; Florida, eight grandchildren, three`brothers Edward Sherrin of Chelmsford, Mass., James Sherrin of Dracut and John Sherrin of Lowell, a sister, Mrs. Mary McFadden of Lowell and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral was held this morning from the Ronald A. Remick Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church with burial in the High Street Cemetery.
