NORTH HAMPTON – Roger R. Moreau, 61, of 62 Granite Post Green, died. Monday, March 15, 1999, in Portsmouth Regional Hospital.
He was born January 22, 1938 in Lowell, MA, the son of the late Joseph and Lillian (Tetreault) Moreau and had resided in the Seacoast area for 25 years.
He attended Lowell schools before joining the US Army Reserves at a young age and later joined the US Air Force, serving from 1955-58 as an aircraft electrical specialist.
Mr. Moreau owned and operated Moreau Auto Body, first located in Hampton and presently in North Hampton. He had previously operated a shop in Lowell.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Janet (Wayman) Moreau of North Hampton; four daughters, Susanne Moreau of Portsmouth, Karen Alden of Berwick, ME, Eleanor Fessenden of Rochester, and Kristina Moreau of North Hampton; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dot Simonetti of Lowell and Theresa Pol and Eileen Thorpe, both of Dracut, MA, and several nieces aid nephews.
