JUPITER, Fla. — Geraldine Lynch Palmer, 83, of Jupiter, passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2003, at Hospice of Palm Beach, after a brief illness.
Born July 9, 1920 in Lawrence, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Joseph A. Lynch and Ardele Janis Lynch.
She had been a resident of Florida since 1984, coming from South Burlington, Vt. She was a graduate of Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vt., receiving her bachelor of arts degree in education in 1941. She was a communicant of St. Jude Catholic Church in Tequesta.
Surviving is her beloved husband of 47 years, Allen G. Palmer; her devoted daughters, Joy Palmer of Merrimack, N.H., Jean Palmer of Essex Junction, Vt., and Janet Palmer and husband Joseph H. Jendry of Tequesta; her loving sisters, Joan Gannon of Lowell, Mass., and Justine Mulcahy of Salisbury Beach, Mass.; and her adored granddaughter, Sosenna Palmer.
PALMER – Geraldine Lynch Palmer, 83, of Jupiter, Fla., died Oct. 31, 2003. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 2, at Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 250 Center St., Jupiter, Fla. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 3, at St. Jude Catholic Church, Tequesta. Interment will be at a later date at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass.
