SKILLMAN, N.J. — Leonore Lane Paneyko, 95, died October 30, 2002 in the Medical Center at Princeton after a brief illness.
She was born in Hampton, the daughter Mr. and Mrs. Howard G. Lane. She was a 40-year resident of Princeton and Skillman, and maintained a home at Bar Harbor, Maine, for many years.
She was a graduate of the Dana Hall School, Wellesley, Mass., and a 1928 graduate of Smith College, Northampton,, Mass.
Mrs. Paneyko devoted her life to family philanthropy. She supported many worthy causes and institutions in New Hampshire and elsewhere, including Lane Memorial Library in Hampton.
She traveled the world extensively and enjoyed reading, music, historical and cultural activities and her gardens.
She is survived by two sons, Andrew H.L. Paneyko of New York and Stephen H. Paneyko of Skillman; one daughter-in-law, Susan S. Paneyko; and three granddaughters.
A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, Jan. 11, 2003, at 5 p.m. at Bedens Brook Club, Skillman.
