Olive M. Langley Ring

HAMPTON -- Olive M. Langley Ring, 87, of 3 Pawnee St., died Sunday, Sept. 19, 1999, at Exeter Healthcare.

She was born Nov. 1, 1911, in Manchester, the daughter of the late John and Eva  (Dyer) Wood. She wintered in Florida for many years.

She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School and attended Emerson College in Boston.

Mrs. Ring and her husband owned and operated Seaside Village Motel for 35 years. She was also a real estate agent for many years and more recently she worked for Jeannette’s Sea Shore Shoppe in Rye Beach.

She was a member of Hampton United Methodist Church; the Hampton Monday Club; Orient Chapter No. 22, Order of Eastern Star of Exeter; and was active with the local and state Republican Party.

The widow of Donald A. Ring, her husband of 52 years who died July 10, she is survived by two sons and their wives, E. Errol and Vicki Langley of Vero Beach, Fla., and Jay A. and Peppa Ring of Hampton; six grandchildren; and two great–grandchildren.

She was predeceased by one son, Donald L. Ring.
