Michael R. Robidas

HAMPTON -- Michael R. Robidas, 40, of Norton Road, died Tuesday, June 4, 1996, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after being stricken ill at work.

He was born March 22, 1956, in Rochester, the son of Joseph A. Robidas of Dover and the late Constance R. (Lessard) Robidas. He was raised in Dover and moved to Hampton in the early 1970s.

He was a 1974 graduate of Winnacunnet High School.

Mr. Robidas as employed by Hannaford Brothers Co., a retail supermarket chain, since 1979 and held the position of store manager at the Super Shop 'N Save in Hampton for the past eight years. He was formerly employed by Mr. G's Supermarkets at their Seabrook store.

He was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. He was chairman of the Pastoral Council and a Eucharistic Minister of the church.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council No. 5093, of Hampton and was a former member of the Hampton Rotary Club.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of 20 years, Patricia M. (Marchand) Robidas of Hampton; one son, Jason M. Robidas of Hampton; one daughter, Kristin N. Robidas of Hampton; two brothers, David L. Robidas of Colebrook and Anthony S. Robidas of Rochester; two sisters, Suzanne J. Booska of Union and Julie-Jo E. Gullotti of Rochester; his step-mother, Shirley J. Robidas of Dover; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Saturday in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton.
