A page of the sign-in book for the 25th Annual Meeting of the Association, 1931, held at the Hotel Ashworth. Supt. of Schools Roy W. Gillmore and his wife, Anna (Hopkins) Gillmore, were guests of the Association. Supt. Gillmore attended all the Banquets during his 26-year term of office. And he attended the 1958 Banquet after his retirement (late in 1956). Mr. Gillmore passed away at age 80 on January 31, 1971, less than three months after his wife had succumbed at age 81. The Gillmores’ only child, Alta Abigail, was graduated from the Academy in 1936; she is now Mrs. Robert W. Kimball of Hampton.
