HAMPTON -- Through customer dedication, and a commitment to quality, Florida Casual has grown to become a leader in spa and pool care in the Seacoast. Located in a brand-new showroom) on Route One, the family owned business has seen steady growth since 1990, when Tom Chisholm first opened the doors.

Together with his wife, Marguerite, daughter and son-in-law, Donna and John Kennedy, the family strives to make their customer's outdoor entertaining experience a pleasurable one. Originally located in North Hampton, and selling just patio pipe furniture, the family rapidly added product lines at the customer's request. They added above-ground and in-ground pools, and have been an authorized BioGuard dealer since 1990. Shortly after, the family chose to carry above-ground pools, and through-the-wall vented heaters. They also carry spas, aluminum furniture, cushions, pool accessories and toys.

To complete your outdoor entertainment, Florida Casual also has a propane filling station, with some of the lowest prices on the Seacoast.

"We have nine spas and nine sets of furniture on the floor all the time," says Chisholm, adding that the extra space allows him to be able to display the furniture.

The growth of Florida Casual has been steady over the years, and customers keep coming back. "It is because of these nice customers, we've been able to move to this new location," says Chisholm, whose business slogan appropriately is `where one happy customer tells another.'

The store, located at 890 Lafayette Road, is open in the winter from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and closed on Sunday. During the summer, the store expands its operations from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
