HAMPTON -- Continuing its dynamic expansion, Monro Muffler Brake (NASDAQ:MNRO), one of the nation's largest chains of company-operated undercar repair service centers, today announced the grand opening of its new Hampton facility.

The shop in Hampton reflects Monro's ongoing response to the changing needs of today's customers, noted Larry Day, Monro's President and CEO."Over the years we've expanded our services to include brakes, shocks, struts, springs, front-end and front-wheel drive repair, tire sales and service, and oil changes. We've also extended the hours we're open and are constantly improving the warranties."

The facility, located at 308 Lafayette Road, will be managed by John Forsythe. The phone number is 926-4019.

The new 4500 square foot shop features six service bays, state-of-the-art undercar repair equipment and an electronic point of sale (POS) computer system for quick customer order response.

Monro's warranties include a worldwide, lifetime muffler guarantee and a one-year warranty on all pipes. A lifetime ride control guarantee is offered on all shocks and McPherson strut service, and disc brake pads and brake shoes are covered by a range of guarantees from 12,000 miles to a lifetime warranty. Treadwear warranties ranging from 40,000 to 80,000 miles, are issued on all new tires except some light truck and high performance tires. All other services are guaranteed for a minimum of 90 days or 4,000 miles.

The Hampton facility will be open 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays; from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Wednesdays; and from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
