HAMPTON -- Phil and Nancy Russell, owners of the newly opened Sunshine Video Store, have been buying classics and children's video tapes for the last three years. "It is Nancy's store," said Phil. "She has always wanted to do this." The spacious new store is located in the Hampton town parking lot in the building that once housed Palmer's Pharmacy, and Easter Seals. There is plenty of parking and a customer can park, run in, and run out with a selection and not have to think about finding a place in a crowded lot.

The Russells are Hampton people whose children have all gone to Winnacunnet High School and who want to be considered "people serving people." Rental prices are only $.99 for two nights and $1.99 for new re-leases, in line with the lowest renters and much below the big operators. And—they are happy to reserve tapes from their diverse selection when customers call.

Nancy Russell is taking the business one step at a time; but she plans to have audio books very soon, and to expand into video games after the first of the year. She plans to retain a low price on future tape products and accommodate all requests.

Video renters should check out the broad selection and call in for reservations at 929-1960. And by the way, there is a big, hot popcorn machine to make your viewing everything it would be at a movie theater!
