Selectmen voted last week to allow the owners of 931 Ocean, a new restaurant on Ocean Boulevard, to serve alcohol on the outside patio.

Selectmen gave the OK after consulting with Hampton Police Chief Jamie Sullivan, who said he didn't have a problem with it.

931 Ocean recently opened up at the location where Kennedy's Restaurant used to be. The owners of the restaurant also own JP Bagels on King's Highway.
