Plans to construct a new CVS Pharmacy and bank where Hampton Cinema Six currently sits on Lafayette Road is moving forward.

The Planning Board voted last week to conditionally approve the project.

While the CVS and retail space was conditionally approved back in December, Cinema owner John Tinios came back to the board with new plans to add a bank to the project.

Joe Coronati, of Jones and Beach Engineers, said in order to accommodate the bank, he eliminated 3,000 square feet of space from the project. The entrances and parking for the new project did not change.

The movie theater officially closed the weekend of Feb. 13 and this past weekend sold off virtually everything in the building including theater seats.
