HAMPTON -- Galley Hatch owner John Tinios has been hard at work so busy customers can relax.

Tinios recently opened Provisions alongside his Hampton establishment, a store that caters to overworked patrons. It features meals to go ranging from lasagna to stir-fry, all made by the Galley Hatch chefs and refrigerated or frozen for convenience.

"We look at it as the place for people who are too busy to prepare dinner," Tinios said.

In addition to ready-made meals, Provisions also offers wine, cheese, Seasons Bakery's desserts, appetizer platters, gift baskets, and other gourmet food items.

"People who love food will love this store," Tinios said.

Although construction on the store and restaurant has continued through this week Tinios wants to let customers know both are still open. He is planning a grand opening celebration and ribbon-cutting ceremony in September, once construction is completed and Provisions is fully stocked.

Tinios also plans to host wine and cheese tastings in the future not only for the enjoyment of patrons, but also to educate them so they can enjoy those products even more.

"I hope that the people who really enjoy food and entertaining will come in and utilize the store," he said.
