HAMPTON - Gem Plumbing and Heating, continuing its service area expansion into northeastern Massachusetts and eastern New Hampshire, has opened a satellite office in Hampton.

The office will employ from 10 to 12 service technicians, and provide plumbing, heating and drain cleaning services to area residents.

Service personnel will be drawn initially from former employees of AAA Rooter & Plumbing, led by Maria Dalla Costa, sales and service director for the new Hampton office. Dalla Costa was the former owner of AAA Rooter & Plumbing, which was acquired by Gem this past fall.

The Hampton satellite office will service an area stretching north from the Lynn-Saugus, Mass., area up through Portsmouth to the Kittery area.
