HAMPTON -- Almost 14,000 area residents have chosen one of four Hampton physicians as their doctor. Now these physicians are uniting their practices and expanding their services to meet the growing demand for more convenient healthcare.

Internal medicine specialists James Glennon, MD, and Robert Millstein, MD, formerly of Hampton Medical Group, are teaming up with Ralph Falk, MD, and Kathleen Kelly, MD, of Core Physician Services to form HamptonHealthTM, a new practice.

The primary care practice will offer the services of six medical doctors, one podiatrist, two physicians' assistants, a nurse practitioner, diagnosticians and more at 879 Lafayette Road (Route 1).

""Patients have told us they want a one-stop shop," Dr. Glennon says. "Teaming up to form HamptonHealth allows us to expand services in ways we couldn't do as a smaller practice."

HamptonHealth specializes in internal medicine, or healthcare for adults. Complementary services include foot care, laboratory analyses, x-ray and mammography. Services in planning include expanded hours, electronic prescription writing and medication dispensing.

The physicians will be joined by their assistants Bridget Bettencourt, PA, and Carolyn Pappas, PA, and by nurse practitioner Kari Weeder, NP.

The practice includes the services of James H. Dolan, DPM, a provider of foot care and orthotics.

Two more internists are joining the new practice: Andrew Kunkemueller, MD, and Patricia Pangan, MD. The greater variety and number of caregivers allows the new practice to make more same-day appointments for unforeseen illnesses and emergencies.

The multi-service health facility is being facilitated by Core Physician Services, the largest multi-specialty physician group on the Seacoast and an affiliate of Exeter Health Resources.
