HAMPTON -- Customers who come to Hampton Vision Center for their eyewear and regular eye exams have been greeted in recent months by a couple of brand new faces: Nina Furlon and Jay Oczkowski, both opticians, are now on-staff at Hampton Vision. They join owners opticians Liz and William "Sully" Sullivan and optometrist Dr. K.B. Boyer in providing the Seacoast with the quality service that Hampton Vision has consistently provided to their customers for years.

"All the opticians here are experienced," says Sully (they're all ABO board-certified, too). "Not all offices have as many opticians as we do." That means customers can be assured of professional, courteous attention when they come to Hampton Vision for their eyewear - and eye care - needs.

And what else is new at Hampton Vision Center? "We have drilled, totally rimless frames," says Sully of the newest look in eyewear. "There's no frame around the lenses." Speaking of lenses, they are showing up this year in various fashion-funky tints -- think fuchsia and violet -- and tangerine, a shade which Sully says is "great for overcast [or] foggy days."

Customers shopping for high-fashion frames will love the extensive selection at Hampton Vision.

"We have the largest high-fashion frame line selection in the area," says Sully, "probably more than [in] Boston." Besides designer favorites from Donna Karan, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Giorgio Armani, and Kate Spade, Hampton Vision also offers Pro-Design (from Denmark), Casanova Taxi (a unique line from Italy), Lafont (heavy plastic full-rim frames in lots of colors -- "that line's doing really well"), and Alain Mikli (direct from Paris). The latter features a real bold look in narrow rectangular lenses. "That shape's popular right now," says Sully.

For the sports enthusiast, Hampton Vision offers a great range of eyewear products which lend themselves to both standard and corrective lenses. These include underwater snorkel masks, padded and adjustable sports safety goggles for kids and adults, Bolle tinted ski goggles, and Adidas adjustable sports frames. Sunglasses by Maui Jim, Costa del Mar, Ocean Waves, Escada, Vuarnet, Cazal and Diva provide many fashionable options for those who like to see things from a shaded point of view. It's a view that's bigger than ever too.

"We've increased our sunglass lines," says Sully, adding that "Oakley now has a lot of frames available for prescription lenses."

When it comes to prescriptions, Hampton Vision does not discriminate. Not only do they fill those written following on-site exams by Dr. Boyer (a consultant for LASIX corrective eye surgery), but they welcome outside prescriptions as well. Hampton Vision uses the finest lens coatings available, including anti-scratch, UV protection, and anti-reflective coatings. Need bi-focals, tri-focals, progressive or contact lenses? Hampton Vision can supply "all lens options," says Sully.

"Glasses are like tools," he continues. "We will come up with a lens/frame combination that will work for your lifestyle and your job" - and maybe even give you a whole new look besides.

Whatever their customers' vision needs may happen to be, the staff at Hampton Vision Center is ready to provide the kind of friendly, competent service their customers expect and deserve. Stop by their expansive showroom and see everything they have to offer in the way of fashion, function and customer service.
