Susan Chute and Gloria Forth, co-owners of Peaceful Life, know full well that your dwelling should be a place of serenity and calm.

Their boutique offers a wide variety of items for one who knows the value of finding their center. Peaceful Life features a mélange of furniture, wine glasses, beeswax candles, table tops, a host of Napa Valley body products, handmade mirrors, silk mobiles, prints and even items for the practice of yoga. Many of the items are unique to the store.

Peaceful Life is the spawn of a store that Forth owned in previous years in Fort Collins, CO. When Forth moved to the area she and her sister-in-law decided to give it a go here.

"I wanted to open another store," said Forth. "She thought it would be fun, so we did it together."

The idea of a peaceful life translates to the store's entire approach. Entering the shop, one immediately enters an area of tranquility.

"The whole idea behind this store is that people lead very crazy lives," said Chute. "We wanted to offer them the opportunity to go into a shopping atmosphere that's not all this craziness."

"Sometimes adding something simplifies things," added Forth.

The two women are currently planning a grand opening/ open house for Saturday, March 10 featuring hors d'oeuvres and perhaps some wine. So when you're ready to find peace in your life stop by Peaceful Life and get yourself in that "good" place.
