HAMPTON BEACH — Ron Boucher, executive chef, owner and operator of Ron’s Landing restaurant at Hampton Beach, is moving on.
In a recent transaction, Boucher sold his interest in the business to his longtime business partner and brother, Bob Boucher.
In February of 2003, Ron opened a French cooking school in Greenland, aptly named Chez Boucher.
“I am really excited and looking forward to pursuing some of my other interests, as well as spending more time with my family,” says Ron. “My long-overdue cookbook and cooking show are just a few of the several projects currently in the works. This opportunity will allow me the time and freedom to move some of those simmering pots to the front burner.”
Ron continued by saying, “I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the local people in Hampton and surrounding towns that have supported the restaurant throughout the last 18 years. It’s been a wonderful and fulfilling experience for my family and me. We have met many great people and have much to be thankful for. This was the perfect outcome for our clientele and for Bob Boucher, who wanted to stay and operate the restaurant.”
Ron assures the many loyal customers and fans of Ron’s Landing, everything at the restaurant will remain the same — the name, the food, the atmosphere and the reputation for fine dining. The Bouchers invite the public to stop in the restaurant and say hello to Bob, and enjoy a fantastic meal, continuing the tradition that has been set forth.
Ron’s Landing is located 379 Ocean Boulevard, Hampton Beach. For more information or to make dinner reservations, call (603) 929-2122. Chez Boucher French cooking school is located at 611 Breakfast Hill Road in Greenland; call (603) 964-9909 for more information.
