Aquarion Water Co. will relocate its office to 7 Scott Road (behind Hannaford supermarket) effective Friday, May 18, according to Carl McMorran, operations manager.

McMorran said the move will enable Aquarion to enhance its source protection practices, since all activities but pumping and water treatment will be moved out of our current maintenance shop at the Mill Road wellfield. Removing the other aspects of the operation will minimize activities that might cause surface contamination in the protected wellheads.

McMorran said new site will help Aquarion serve customers better by consolidating our customer service and water distribution operations into a single, more central location. The new office has a ground floor entrance for handicapped access.

Phone numbers and other contact information will not change. Business hours will remain the same (8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m., Monday-Friday)
