CR's The Restaurant ribbon cutting

The Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce welcomed CR’s The Restaurant to Hampton with a ribbon cutting at 287 Exeter Road.  Located but a few minutes from NH's scenic Seacoast and a short half hour drive from Manchester, CR's The Restaurant promises to deliver a dining experience to Hampton this fall, not often seen outside the big cities of Boston, Chicago, or New York.

Acclaimed restaurateur Chuck Rolecek known best for his highly successful operations in and around the Manchester Bedford area-CR Sparks, The Event Center, and the Hanover Street Chophouse-has teamed up with heralded restaurant architect Peter Niemitz of Niemitz Design Group to give the former Bonta restaurant a "makeover" that will be sure to excite restaurant and dining aficionados for years to come.

Executive Chef-Partner Chris Veatch is returning to NH after a 20 year absence (Chris was the opening Chef at CR Sparks in 1994), and will bring a style of cooking that will no doubt capture the essence of the New England Seacoast with its wide variety of seafood, fresh fish, and local farms known for their organic farming initiatives, with an eclectic menu of "sophisticated comfort food".

Hours are currently:  Monday-Thursday 5:00-7:00; Friday 5:00-10:00; Saturday lunch 11:30-2:30, dinner 5:00-10:00; Sunday lunch 11:30-2:30, dinner 4:00-8:00.  Call for reservations at 603-929-7972.

Shown at the ribbon cutting:  Chuck Rolecek, owner (with scissors); Chris Veatch, executive chef; Zack Gage, asst. general manager; Holly Sault, marketing & sales; Tom Begani, sous chef; all of CR’s The Restaurant.  Representing the Hampton Area Chamber are Doc Noel, Chamber president; Geoff Merrill; Paul Lepere; Scott Bean; Scott Beattie; and Dean Merrill.
