Alice and Smokey Bowen have opened a new restaurant, Fores Restaurant with Alice and Smokey’s 19th Hole Lounge, at 822 Lafayette Road in Hampton. This is the former site of Ron Jillian’s, which has moved up the street near The Community Oven.

The Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce celebrated grand opening day with a ribbon cutting. Alice cut the ribbon with smiles and cheers, surrounded by the friendly Fores staff and Chamber representatives.

Alice and Smokey have lived in Hampton for 40 years, and look forward to offering the comfort of their restaurant to their many friends and visitors. The menu is varied, and features daily specials, as well as comfort food, steaks, burgers, and lobster pie. There is a full liquor license for those cocktails to go with your meal.

Fores is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week.
