Although the nation's building industry was virtually on life support during the economic downturn Jamie Gowing Cabinetry and Houghton Builders continued to thrive due to their well earned reputations for excellence. Houghton Builders, which has specialized in custom-built homes for over 37 years, and Jamie Gowing Cabinetry, which provides customers with beautiful custom cabinetry and architectural elements, first worked together on a 15,000 square foot custom home in 2001. Since this time they have worked on dozens of remodeling or new build projects, both small and large, throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
