Hampton Natural Foods

Hampton Natural Foods is on the move, but fans of the family-owned independent grocery store won't have to look far for its new storefront.

The business will soon transition over to the front unit in Seacoast Plaza at 845 Lafayette Road, just .6 miles north of the current building at 580 Lafayette Road.

The newly-renovated unit is almost complete, and store employees say they are "pretty excited" about the prospects of moving into a "bigger, better and all-new" home.

An official move-in date hasn't yet been set, although the business is aiming to be in by the end of November.

Hampton Natural Foods has called Hampton home since 1986. The store was originally located next to the old Hampton Cinema Six, a 321 Lafayette Road movie theater that closed in 2009 and has since been replaced with a CVS Pharmacy.

The grocers, who focus on natural products from local vendors, have been at 580 Lafayette Road for the past 10 years.
