HAMPTON — Jamie Gowing Cabinetry not only has survived the economic downturn, but is growing! It recently moved into a larger, 4000 square foot, state of the art location at 592 Lafayette Road in Hampton. It had been in Greenland.
The new space has enabled it to expand its beautifully crafted custom offerings which include cabinetry, doors, fireplace surrounds, millwork and paneling for kitchens, libraries, offices, bathrooms and a variety of other rooms.
In addition to the move, the firm is celebrating its 10-year relationship with Houghton Builders, which has specialized in custom built homes for over 37 years.
On September 29 they are hosting a party for their staff and all the contractors they work with to celebrate their firms’ 10th anniversary.
Although the nation’s building industry was virtually on life support during the economic downturn, Jamie Gowing Cabinetry and Houghton Builders continued to thrive due to their well earned reputations for excellence. Houghton Builders, which has specialized in custom-built homes for over 37 years, and Jamie Gowing Cabinetry, which provides customers with beautiful custom cabinetry and architectural elements, first worked together on a 15,000 square foot custom home in 2001. Since this time they have worked on dozens of remodeling or new build projects, both small and large, throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine.
Many of the projects have been featured in magazines including Accent, Coastal Home and Better Homes and Gardens.
