HAMPTON — Kennebunk Savings officials gathered to officially cut the ribbon at its newest office at 24 Winnacunnet Road in Hampton on June 27.

Members of Kennebunk Savings Bank board of trustees, executive management and guests from the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce along with local business owners celebrated the opening of Kennebunk Savings third New Hampshire branch. According to Bradford C. Paige, Kennebunk Savings president and CEO, "The new Hampton office complements our existing presence in the seacoast New Hampshire and southern Maine markets. The opening reflects our belief in the strength of the local Hampton economy and our desire to be a vital part of the seacoast New Hampshire and small business marketplace. We think we have a unique blend of products, responsive customer service and an unparalleled commitment to our communities that differentiates us in the marketplace."

To mark the occasion, Kennebunk Savings contributed $1,500 to two local nonprofit organizations, the St. Vincent's Food Pantry and Experience Hampton. Kennebunk Savings is committed to serving its local community; each year through its Community Promise charitable giving program, Kennebunk Savings contributes 10 percent of earnings to nonprofit organizations. Since 1994, that has resulted in over $8 million in donations to area nonprofits. Part of that commitment includes volunteering, and in 2012, employees spent over 8,500 hours working to better the community.

The Hampton team includes Vice President and Branch Manager, Jim Carrigan, Assistant Branch Manager, Nadine White; Commercial Lending Officer, Jamie Thompson; Retail Market Manager, Brendan Markey, and Residential Lender, Tim Gill. The Hampton opening marks the third office for Kennebunk Savings in New Hampshire, and is now the company's sixteenth office serving seacoast New Hampshire and York County, Maine.
