HAMPTON — Portsmouth Catering Co. part of the famed Kitchen on Islington Street in Portsmouth, recently set up catering operations in Hampton at the former home of Fischer Scientific at One Liberty Lane.
The chef team of Michael Prete and Matt Greco were in search of a space big enough to handle their growing catering operations and at the same time the powers that be at One Liberty Lane were looking for a catering company to be part of their beautiful venue. The space can accommodate multiple indoor and outdoor events with the Great Hall able to host parties as big as 225 guests. An island with a picturesque footbridge over the large pond is a perfect spot to hold the ceremony and Portsmouth Catering plans to offer valet, limousine services and even the ability to have the bride and groom fly in to the properties helipad via helicopter. Business events and corporate catering are their specialty. The room has wi-fi, built-in projector and drop-down screen, conference phones and other amenities to make tech-savvy business meetings a breeze.
Portsmouth Catering also offers lunch service to One Liberty Lane and surrounding businesses and residence at the properties cafe open Monday through Friday 11-3 p.m.
