TIME FOR A NEW LOOK? -- No, its not the much-missed town clock going up in Downtown Hampton. Scott Trickett of FasTrax Sign Service with help from Sean Nordin (not pictured) positions The Old Salt's trademark rotating clock atop a metal pole in front of the restaurant's new home at Lamie's Inn on Thursday, April 5. The clock may look new, but the clock and thermometer mechanisms within it were taken from the old square clock which stood in front of the original Old Salt at Hampton Beach. By the end of the day, the Old Salt sign was up as well, and the clock was soon keeping fine rotating time.
