Most of those at Saturday's deliberative session would like to see the town save the remaining fish houses at Ruth Stimson Park.

Voters amended all three articles pertaining to the fish houses by deleting the words that state if the article is defeated selecmen will remove the houses from the park.

In March, voters will be asked whether they want to allow the town-owned Mace Fish House and the replica Doggett Fish House owned by Dave Cropper to remain on town property. Both fish houses currently have no legal right to be on town property because they're not owned by a commercial fisherman.
