The town has hired a new administrative assistant to replace Maureen Duffy.

Town Manager Fred Welch announced last week they have appointed Kristina Ostman to the position effective Feb. 29.

"We are very pleased to annouce this appointment," Welch said. "A special thank you to Maureen Duffy for her work as administrative assistant." Duffy handed in her resignation three weeks ago after accepting a job as communications director for the New Hampshire Farm Bureau."
