NEW HOTEL -- Last week realization of a new hotel addition to Ashworth By-The-Sea on Ocean Boulevard began as buildings were torn down to make room for new construction expected to be completed by next spring. The new hotel will consist of 63 additional accommodations including a heated pool, meeting and convention rooms. The Grandmaisons plan is modern but compatible with the existing facilities. A new lounge, "the Patriot's Lounge" and the "Wharf", a luncheon facility, will also be included in the new hotel.
