HAMPTON …. On Saturday evening, October 19, 2002, the Hamptons’ American Legion Post 35 will host a “Veterans Appreciation Dinner” at the Legion Hall, 69 High Street, Hampton, New Hampshire.

A Roast Beef dinner with mashed potatoes, vegetables, salad and dessert will be served at $7.50 per person and members of the Post 35 may bring ONE guest. “Happy Hour” will be at 6 p.m. with dinner following at 7 p.m. As seating is limited, be sure and make your reservation (RSVP) early by calling Joe Kutt at 964-6152.

FIFTY YEAR CONTINUOUS SERVICE AWARDS

This year, eleven of our comrades achieved the distinction of completing a half-century of continuous membership and service to the American Legion:

Ananais Bickford, Armand J. Gagne, Eliot A. Hobbs, John M. Holman, Donald Janvrin, Richard A. Perkins, Robert D. Perkins, William Treat, Glen Webb, Robert S. Webber and William B. Wentworth. 50-year service awards will be presented to these men at the Dinner that evening.

HAMPTON — Hamptons’ American Legion Post #35 recently presented Fifty Year Continuous Service Awards to 11 of its members. Recipients included Ananais Bickford, Armand J. Gagne, Eliot A. Hobbs, John M. Holman, Donald Janvrin, Richard A. Perkins, Robert D. Perkins, William Treat, Glen Webb, Robert S. Webber and William B. Wentworth. The presentations were announced at the post’s recent Veterans Appreciation Dinner held at the Legion Hall on Saturday, October 19. Post Commander Ralph G. Fatello, speaking on behalf of Post #35, commented that “Our respect, appreciation and best wishes go out to these comrades. Congratulations, men!”
