HAMPTON -- American Legion Post 35 in the Hamptons will dedicate six new names on the Global War On Terrorism Memorial Monument at 6 p.m., Tuesday at the American Legion Post 35 hall, 69 High St., Hampton.

This monument has the names of all the New Hampshire veterans who lost their lives in the war on terror since Sept. 11, 2001, engraved in chronological order of their passing.

The new names are: Cpl. Nicholas A. Arvantis, U.S. Army, of Manchester; Lance Cpl. Ryan T. McCaughn, U.S. Marine Corps, of Manchester; Cpl. Matthew J. Stanley, Army, of Wolfeboro; Spc. Toby R. Olsen, Army, of Manchester; Spc. Justin A. Rollins, Army, of Newport; and Capt. Jonathan D. Grassbaugh, Army, of East Hampstead.

Grassbaugh was a graduate of Phillips Exeter Academy.

Guest speaker is veteran Sgt. Nick Cyr USMC, who had one tour in Iraq and one in Afghanistan. Other keynote speakers include Gov. John Lynch and American Legion State Commander Chuck Lewis. Families of the latest GWOT casualties from New Hampshire will be in attendance, as well as other dignitaries from the state.

Color guards from Post 35, Hampton Fire Department and Winnacunnet High School USMC Junior ROTC, Boy Scout Troop 177, the Seacoast Marine Corps League's rifle squad will be on hand. Local singer Elaine Weatherby will perform the national anthem. The public is invited and refreshments will be served after the ceremony at Post 35.
