Hampton Beach, New Hampshire

Guidance for adding names to the memorial is outlined in Chapter Law 125:2 approved on April 19, 1990 and the original legislation passed in 1955, Chapter Law 338. Servicemen lost at sea during World War II and the Vietnam War and members of the Merchant Marine Service lost at sea during World War II are eligible for inclusion on the memorial. Those lost needed to be citizen's of New Hampshire at the time of their death.

Names for inclusion on the memorial need to be recommended from a veteran's organization and sent to the Division of Parks and Recreation. At this time we will evaluate requests on a case by case basis in consultation with the Division of Historical Resources.

If additional information is needed, contact the Supervisor of Park Operations at the State of New Hampshire (DRED) Department of Resources and Economic Development, Division of Parks and Recreation at 172 Pembroke Road, P.O.
