Forward to next section -- Return to Table of Contents The Hampton Town Seal As Hampton reaches three and one-half centuries of existence, the town's anniversary celebration committee is prepared to bring to the residents a full year-long program of events. We want this momentous occasion to be remembered for many years to come.

This Souvenir Program Book, like those published in years past on other historic occurrences, will be held and treasured by not only town residents but by many of our visiting friends who call Hampton their home away from home during the summer season.

The committee wishes to thank all of the many persons who have contributed to the production of this hook; for the planning involved with the ambitious Calendar of Events as well as the execution of those events; for the financial, material and moral support of the entire program; and for their simple but heartfelt good wishes for our beloved "olde towne."
