The Staff and Owners of the Recently Opened Goody Cole's
HAMPTON -- Hampton Beach celebrates the arrival of a new season and a new restaurant, Goody Cole's Tavern, located at 5 J Street, opened March 11 and is a great place for food, fun and "spirits." The restaurant's menu features charbroiled steaks, fresh seafood, veal and chicken and is guaranteed to meet the taste of every diner. In addition, there are daily luncheon and dinner specials, sandwiches and appetizers served until midnight and a fully-stocked bar. The owners, Dee and Bob O'Neill, have taken pains to create a warm and cozy atmosphere at Goody Cole's. There's lots of dark, highly polished wood in the lounge and a cathedral ceiling. The dining room, too, has dark wood and a beautiful brick fireplace. The memory of Goody Cole, the only woman ever convicted of witchcraft in the state of New Hampshire, is evoked in the restaurant with little touches of memorabilia and mood-setting accents. The atmosphere, fine food and friendly people combine to make Goody Cole's Tavern a most welcome addition to the Hampton Beach dining scene.
