HAMPTON -- The James House Association Inc., a National Historic Site in Hampton, has updated and redesigned its Web site to make it more user friendly.

The house dates back to 1723 and the association is made up of a group of people who, over the past 11 years, have been working to preserve the house and restore its grounds.

The new Web site offers places to find what volunteer activities are available, what programs are being offered, plans for the house and its grounds, events being held during 2006 and items for sale.

The "Lives Past Lived" page lists programs the James House Players are offering to the public, such as a presentation at an organization's location

.

The history pages, the resources page, the restoration/preservation page have all been updated. A link page has been added. The Web site is located at www.jameshousemuseum.org.
