DIAL M FOR MURDER was an exciting production. One of the highlights of which was the attempted strangulation of the leading lady (Rowena Burack) by the villain Albert Ackell ending with her stabbing him with a pair of shears ... a very dramatic and frightening piece of business for Hampton audiences.

Carleton Carpenter (an MGM alum) played the male lead in THE RAINMAKER with Rowena Burack as the feminine lead ... the cast also included John Vari, Jim Arenton, and Albert Ackel.

TOBACCO ROAD featured Albert Ackel as Jeeter Lester, one of his more notable performances, backed by a very exciting cast. Sue Neidringhaus had a wonderful 'stage mother' who loved theatre and parties and held open house all season ... parties abounded there almost every night. Company members and/or performers included Laine Gardner, Enid Pallant, Sue Cole, Robert Korchack. Local actors included: Bob Duggan, Catherine Coffin, Sue Neidringhaus.
