Because of special church services this week, the Mother's Circle has postponed its regular meeting until Wednesday of next week.

The Monday club will meet with Mrs. Thompson on April 1.

There will be a dance in the town hall on Saturday, Mar. 30, at 8 p.m. Music by Jordan's Orchestra of Newburyport. Admission 15 cents. Everybody come and have a good time.

Private Ernest L., Fogg, formerly of the Machine Gun Battalion, Camp Devens, was transferred to the 152nd Depot Brigade, Camp Upton, New York, last Tuesday, and will leave in a short time for France. His many friends wish him health and success, and that he will be one of the "lucky ones" to return to his native soil.

Miss Ernestine Cole and her friend Madeline Wilson of Michigan are spending the Easter vacation with Miss Cole's parents.

The Woman's Missionary society of the Congregational church will meet with Mrs. Alfie L. Godfrey on Wednesday next. It is the time for special Easter offering, and it is hoped many will be present. In the continued absence of the president, Mrs. Lane, Miss Akerman has charge.

The friends of Rupert Lindsey, who had not heard from him for a long time, were relieved to receive word from him saying that he is still in Italy.

The many friends of William Brown are pleased to see him out again after a siege of the mumps.

Fred Loud, a brother of Mrs. Fred Marston, died suddenly at his home on the Exeter road Wednesday night.
