Number of volumes added by purchase, 59; number of volumes presented, 13. The volumes presented are as follows:
Boston Records, Aspinwall Notarial Records, 1644-1657, History of Hampstead, N.H. in two volumes. This is a most interesting and valuable addition to the list of town histories of New Hampshire and was generously given by the author, Harriett F. Noyes. Report of the Interstate Commerce Commission for 1903; Laws of New Hampshire during the Province Period, 1679-1702; Author list of the New Hampshire State Library in two volumes and a Supplement; Journal of the Constitutional Convention of New Hampshire in 1902; Reunion of the General Alumni of Phillips Exeter Academy in 1903; Report of the Smithsonian Institution for 1902; Inside History of the Carnegie Steel Industry; The II Parkway. Among some of the more valuable books purchased are a complete set of Theodore Roosevelt's works in 14 vols, and a copy of the Revised Statute Laws of New Hampshire. Total number of volumes catalogued, 2,798.
