The Library District meeting was held at the Rochester Public Library on June 8. An interesting program and an opportunity to inspect the new High School were the highlights of the day. The New England Regional Conference was held at the Wentworth Hotel from June 19 through the 22nd with many prominent educators, librarians and authors as speakers. Attendance upon two days' sessions at the Book Fair held this year at the Boston Garden was a real treat.

Book Week was observed by displaying the poster "Books Around the World" and by the distribution of the "Magic Carpet," a newspaper printed especially for children.

The following periodicals are in the Library: American Magazine, American Boy, American Girl, American Legion and Auxiliary Magazines, Atlantic Monthly, Baseball, Better Homes and Gardens, Bird Lore, Child Life, Children's Activities, Christian Century, Commentator, Consumers' Union, Current History, Exeter News Letter, Flower Grower, Ford News, Fortune, House and Garden, Hygeia, Jack and Jill, Ladies Home Journal, Life, Mercury, Nation, National Mechanics, Popular Science, Readers Digest, Roscicrusian, Rural New Yorker, Saint Nicholas, Saturday Evening Post, Scientific American, Telephone Topics, Time, Union Signal, Wall Street, Woman's Home Companion, World Horizons, Yankee and Yankee Pilot.
