Seventy-five books have been borrowed from the Bookmobile.

National Library Week was observed in April with emphasis on READING. The poster was displayed and bookmarks were distributed. Children’s Book Week, October 31-November 5, was observed with a display of new books.

A book-drop and a tabel for small children were added to the library equipment this year.

A grant of $100 was received from the State Library for the purchase of reference books in 1967.

The displays on the peg board and in the cases were in charge of Mrs. George Hadley, Assistant Librarian. They were varied and attracted much interest. Area newspapers publicized these displays. We thank all those who contributed to this project.

For several years the Garden Club has provided the lovely Christmas wreath for the front door and many arrangements for the interior during the year, for which we are grateful. The Library staff provided the prettily decorated tree and the candles for the windows.

I have enjoyed my work for 35 years and shall miss it and also meeting my public.
