Mr. Lemuel C. Ring, who has been in failing health for the past eighteen months, passed away at his home this morning. He would have been seventy-nine years old on October 26th.

Mr. Ring came to Hampton from Haverhill, Mass., thirty years ago. He was a carpenter by trade and showed great ability as a businessman, building several of the best cottages and business blocks at Hampton Beach. He took a keen interest in the welfare of the town and beach, especially in the Community Church which he built.

Mr. Ring leave one daughter, Mrs. Byron Redman of this town. His two sons died several years ago. There are seven grandchildren: Myrle, Lloyd, Wendell, Robert and Donald Ring of this town and Mrs. Arthur Mason and Miss Marjorie Ring of Melrose, Mass.

Funeral services are to be held at the community Church on Sunday afternoon at two o'clock.

Funeral services for Mr. Lemuel C. Ring, who passed away last week on Thursday, were held at the Community Church, Hampton Beach on Sunday afternoon. A large number of relatives and friends were present at the services, which were conducted by Rev. Harley Nelson of the Baptist Church. Mr. Norman Leavitt of North Hampton rendered two vocal solos "In The Garden" and "Abide With Me."

A Masonic service was conducted at the church by the Merrimack Lodge, A. F. & A. M., of which Mr. Ring was a member.

The great number of floral offerings completely filled the front of the chancel.

Burial was in the High Street Cemetery, with a service at the grave, conducted by Rev. Mr. Nelson. The bearers were Messrs. Irving Leavitt, Kenneth Ross, Howard Lane, William Clancy, Edwin Batchelder and James Garland. The undertaker was Mr. William Brown.
